Traditional virtualized surround sound technology focuses too much on the 5.1 and 7.1 aspect, which instead create an unrealistic sound field focused on where the speakers would normally be placed in a 5.1 (front sides, back sides, and center) channel or 7.1 (front sides, immediate left & right sides, back sides, and center) channel surround sound setup. A bendable and pivotable microphone allows for easy access to necessary voice communications within games. When the microphone is pivoted upwards, the auto-mic mute design kicks in by switching the circuit off. This is the cleanest way to handle the microphone signal for muting.
